An exhibition on ethics and parliamentary conduct opens tomorrow based upon the first guide on parliamentary ethics created for Portuguese Speaking African countries and East Timor (PALOP-TL). This initiative is possible thanks to the technical and financial support of the PRO PALOP-TL SAI project to the Assembly National of Guinea Bissau and the specialized committee on parliamentary ethics.

The opening ceremony will count with the presence of the president of the National Assembly, Cipriano Cassamá, the European Union representative and UNDP resident representative in the country.

The guide on parliamentary ethics aims to advance democracy strengthening and citizen engagement. Therefore, the guide is available not only for members of the parliament and staff, but also to the civil society, in Portuguese and in Guinea-Bissau creole.
