Angola: Members of Parliament work in Kwanza Norte province

A parliamentary delegation of the ruling MPLA party, integrated by provincial constituency MPs started Wednesday a visit to various local government projects.

The delegation from Luanda led by MP João Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço comprises four other deputies who will join the five Parliament members of Kwanza Norte province's constituency.

The delegation will visit the ten municipalities of the province in order to confirm the levels of the local development and various social works currently underway in those regions.

On its arrival, the delegation held a courtesy meeting with the provincial governor, who is also the first secretary of MPLA, Henrique André Júnior, after which it will travell to the ten municipalities of the province.

Running until the 28 September, the visit is part of an initiative by the ruling MPLA party parliamentary bench aimed at disseminating the national development of national development plan of the party for 2012/2017 .
