The 6th Donor Coordination Meeting on Parliamentary Development took place in Brussels on 14-15 June 2016

It was Co-organized by the UK Department for International Development, United Nations Development Programme, USAID and the World Bank and hosted by the European Parliament.

The objective of donor coordination meeting is to discuss how external actors can more effectively provide parliamentary strengthening assistance through the discussion on some key issues, trends and challenges. Some of the topics discussed included the challenges to representative democracy in the 21st century and the role of parliaments on delivering the 2030 agenda.
