Bringing an informed gender perspective to government co-creation and commitment design is key to ensuring open government truly works for everyone. This is particularly essential in a year like 2021, as the pandemic continues to demonstrate how important it is to consider reforms from a gender and diversity perspective and address specific gaps in service delivery. And with an increase in online co-creation, new opportunities and challenges exist to broaden the base of participation with meaningful engagement of women, gender diverse, and LGBTQIA+ communities.
