This document firstly draws the historical and current HIV/AIDS-situation in Uganda, it explains which strategies have been adopted in the past to combat HIV/AIDS and the challenges that exist in doing so. Afterwards the report elaborates on how parliamentarians can contribute to the prevention, care, support and treatment of the epidemic.
