Human security and parliaments

This online webinar, co-hosted by the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and the Human Security For All campaign (HS4A), is set to equip parliamentarians with a thorough understanding of the Human Security approach and its pertinence in responding to today's complex and intertwined challenges. Amid escalating global insecurity due to violent conflicts, climate change, health crises, and economic downturns, the Human Security approach stands out as a proactive, empowering, and preventive framework that prioritizes individuals and communities.

Presentations by Human Security experts will be followed by an interactive consultative discussion, allowing participants to share experiences, ask questions, and discuss opportunities for implementing the Human Security approach in their work.
