This document presents a third Code of Conduct presented by International IDEA, now tackling political parties campaigning in democratic elections. Although voluntarily, this opens perspectives for political parties and parliamentarians to behave ethically correct. In the document the authors argue why there is a need for such a code, how they got there and what this code of conduct involves.
