The Solomon Islands Parliamentary Strengthening project was established in August 2004 for a three year period, and implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) under a cost sharing arrangement between UNDP and USAID. A four-year second phase of the project was proposed at the February 2007 Tripartite review of the project, and received unanimous support from key stakeholders, including the National Parliament and the Solomon Islands Government. This project document sets out the design and formulation of the proposed second phase.
