André Delgado started his professional career in 1996 at the Court of Auditors of Cabo Verde and has been working in the field of accounting and finance ever since. He currently works as a Finance and Administration Associate on the PALOP-TL Regional Economic Governance Programme (Pro PALOP-TL, Phase III).

With extensive experience as an accountant, André has been involved in projects funded by the World Bank and the African Development Bank.

From 2002 to 2007, he worked as a Finance Clerk at UNDP and was later responsible for the United Nations System (UNS) Travel Services in the context of the Joint Office.

Recently, he acquired solid experience at Cabo Verde's Centre for Political Strategies, created by the government to contribute to improving the country's economic policy management and to support the initiatives of the different public and private actors in civil society.

From 2014 to 2018, he worked as a Programme Assistant on Pro PALOP-TL - SAI (Phase I) and, from June 2018 he worked as a Project Assistant on the joint UNDP/ILO project, where he developed his knowledge of the International Labour Organisation's (ILO) administrative and financial procedures.

Since June 2018 André has held the position of Finance and Administration Associate in our PALOP-TL Regional Economic Governance Programme (Pro PALOP, Phase II and III).

Fluent in French, Portuguese and comfortable with English documentation, André has 28 years of professional experience, four of them in the public sector and twenty in diverse foreign-funded projects.
