This Act contains provisions about the Riksdag. Provisions on elections to the Riksdag, the work of the Riksdag and the tasks of the Riksdag are laid down in the Instrument of Government. The Act is divided into main provisions and supplementary provisions. Rules concerning the enactment and amendment of the provisions of the Riksdag Act are laid down in Chapter 8, Article 17 of the Instrument of Government
