In this interview, Lord Alderdice answers several questions concerning parliamentary strengthening such as the role of parliamentarian and parliamentary institutions in development, the most adequate strategies available to the parliament to strengthen the parliamentary institution, the ways in which the population can trust their representatives and different ways in which political parties and parliamentary groups can enhance their internal democratisation and their capacity to define policy platforms.
