This booklet published by the European Parliament's Office for Promotion of Parliamentary Democracy (OPPD) in Ocotber 2010 provides an overview of some of the core questions relating to parliamentary rules of procedure and how some core questions of parliamentary business are addressed in the rules of different parliaments. It is the first in a new series of publications on issues in parliamentary practice from the OPPD.
