The ParlAmericas Declaration, is from the 17th Gathering of the ParlAmericas Parliamentary Network for Gender Equality in Brasilia, Brazil, held in September 2025.

It commemorates Beijing+30 and reaffirms the commitment of parliamentarians from the Americas and the Caribbean to:

• Safeguard progress made towards gender equality.

• Address structural gaps, new political and social complications, and the erosion of institutional mechanisms for equality.

• Recognize the 1995 Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action as the fundamental framework for the promotion of gender equality.
