The AGORA E-Learning Open House for Parliaments is a one-hour interactive webinar co-organised by AGORA, Inter Pares, and Pro PALOP. The session will present AGORA’s growing portfolio of free, high-quality e-learning courses designed to strengthen the capacity of parliaments and parliamentary staff worldwide.
While AGORA’s courses are openly accessible, awareness and institutional uptake vary across parliamentary administrations. This event aims to engage HR and training officers in parliaments; members of parliament, parliamentary staff involved in professional development, learning and knowledge management; parliamentary research services; and parliamentary development partners and networks – in exploring how these resources can be effectively integrated into internal development programmes and contribute to institutional strengthening.
The webinar will include an introduction to AGORA’s e-learning package, a live demonstration of the platform, and insights from parliamentary practitioners and partners on how e-learning can support both individual learning and organisational development.
The session will focus on the following areas:
- Overview of AGORA’s e-learning courses and knowledge hub
- Demonstration of how to navigate the AGORA platform
- Experiences and case studies from parliaments using AGORA resources
- Practical approaches to integrating e-learning into staff development plans
- Opportunities to foster a culture of continuous learning within parliamentary institutions
Participants will receive a follow-up information package, including an overview of the AGORA knowledge hub, practical guidance for HR units, links to the event recording, and additional resources.
