The Political Party Transparency Index (PPTI), created by the Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD) and Forum for Reasonable Policies (FRP), evaluates North Macedonian political parties on transparency, finances, and intra-party democracy. In 2024, eight major parties were assessed, while newer movements ZNAM and Democratic Movement were excluded for long-term indicator measurement. The report highlights the impact of elections, leadership changes, and internal divisions on party performance, with smaller parties adapting faster than larger ones. The PPTI tracks individual progress, fostering competition and encouraging reforms that benefit both parties and the public.
