Social Norms change, Networking and Global Advocacy to Advance Women’s Political Participation and Decision Making

IPU brings to you this side event is held alongside CSW69 (March 10–21, 2025, in New York), which focuses on reviewing the implementation of the Beijing Declaration, the Platform for Action, and outcomes from the 23rd special session of the General Assembly. The review will assess current challenges to gender equality, women's empowerment, and their role in achieving the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Additionally, the IPU, in partnership with UN Women, will host its annual Parliamentary Meeting on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, from 10:00–13:00 and 15:00–18:00 in the Trusteeship Council Chamber.
