Six months after Russia launched its unprovoked war on Ukraine, this roundtable will take stock of the situation in four key areas and outline the upcoming policy challenges for the European Union. Experts will assess the EU’s military response, food supply in Europe and the world, energy security – with an outlook on the crucial coming winter period, as well as the refugee situation. These diverse perspectives will provide both an overview of where the EU stands in its response to the war, as well as a look ahead as the European Parliament and other EU institutions get back to business after the summer break. Following the presentations, the floor will be open for questions.
