Constituency Development Fund (CDF) is a policy tool that dedicates public funds to benefit specific political subdivisions. There are different positions about whether or not the CDF prove beneficial for the balance of power between the legislative and executive and as consequence, the State University of New York Center for International Development (SUNY/CID) has conducted in-depth researches in several countries and some of its conclusions are presented in this article.
