Gender Responsive Budgeting: a pathway to gender equality in PALOP TL countries

The paper showcases how a model that uses gender-responsive budgeting as a tool to promote gender equality, developed in the context of our programme budgeting as a tool to promote gender equality, developed in the context of our programme, leads to transformational and structural changes in PFMS and, consequently, results in more gender-equal economies and gender equality in the PALOP-TL countries (and could also be applied to other countries or at regional/global levels). Even though we have focused our analysis to the cases of Cabo Verde, Angola and São Tomé and Príncipe, the paper tells a success story of all six PALOP-TL countries
