More than 60 Iraqi and international petroleum specialists, civil servants, policy makers, parliamentarians, activists, corporate executives, academics and journalists participated in the conference. Over three days they explored political, economic and administrative approaches to managing Iraq’s oil in a way that would contribute to development and democratic transition.
