The publication “National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and Independent Bodies” presents a follow-up to the Conference ”National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and Independent Bodies” Belgrade, 26-27 November 2009, a record of the lessons learnt and opinions. Apart from providing an overview of the examples of international practice it is also intended to serve as a support to the National Assembly in drafting provisions on independent bodies in the new Rules of Procedure, incorporating the best model for the National Assembly, thus, strengthening its scrutiny function.
