This publication, prepared by the Mauritanian Senate in collaboration with UNDP, provides a practical handbook for the Mauritanian senators. It sheds light on the Mauritanian institutional structure, and discusses the Senate’s organization, and the different stages of the legislative process. It also discusses the oversight role of the Senators.
