This study is a result of a joint initiative of the Inter-Parliamentary Union and the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (International IDEA) to create a document that evaluates the situation of parliaments in the region on gender mainstreaming, in addition to revealing good practices as well as the significant work still required for Latin American parliaments.
