This report of a conference held in 2000 in New Delhi and organized by the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association, Commonwealth Press Union, Commonwealth Broadcasting Association and Commonwealth Journalist Association, focuses on the relationship between Parliament and the media. The main aim was to determine how their complementary roles in the democratic process can be enhanced to better inform the electorate.
