The report covers the period from 1 January to 30 June 2010. It focuses on country-specific political developments within the subregion, on cross-border and cross-cutting issues in West Africa and on activities undertaken by UNOWA in cooperation with other United Nations entities and regional organizations, including the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), as well as civil society and other international organizations.
