This webinar will feature the launch of the 2021 Europe Sustainable Development Report (3rd edition) prepared by the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) in partnership with SDSN Europe and the Institute for a European Environmental Policy (IEEP). The report co-designed with civil society, provides an overview of the European Union performance and trajectories on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by all UN Member States in 2015. It includes detailed country profiles for all EU Member States and partner countries – including for the first time EU candidate countries. This year’s edition includes two thematic chapters: The EU Recovery and the SDGs; and Transforming the Agri-Food Sector for Achieving the SDGs. As for previous editions, the report underlines SDGs priorities inside the EU but also the need to leverage diplomacy and to address negative spillovers embodied into unsustainable supply chains in order to accelerate the implementation of the SDGs and Paris Climate Agreement. This event will bring together various experts and practitioners to discuss key priorities and transformations to achieve the SDGs inside and outside the EU and how to get it done in the face of the pandemic. --- About the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN): The UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) was set up in 2012 under the auspices of the UN Secretary-General.
