Report of the IPU/ UNDP seminar on "Parliament and the National Budget: Legislative and Oversight Functions", which was held on 8 and 9 May 2003  in Timor-Leste. The seminar aimed to provide members of the National Parliament with the necessary tools to participate more constructively in, and contribute more effectively to the budgetary process, with a particular focus on gender budgeting.
