This report of the Hansard Society looks at the opportunities of new information and communication technology for parliaments over the next decade. The report found three areas of parliamentary business in which ICT might improve effectiveness and efficiency: information, legislation and representation. One part about the internet looks at key dates and key developments; another part looks at the parliament for the future.
