In October 2002, UNDP Kosovo and the IPU, at the request of the President of the Assembly of Kosovo, undertook a joint assessment mission to determine how best to prepare the AoK to pass well-researched and informed legislation and to provide greater transparency to its work for the benefit of the entire population of Kosovo.
